Songwriter australien, Mick Hart n'a cessé de parcourir le monde au cours de ces neuf dernières années, se produisant en Australie, en France, mais aussi en Angleterre, Irlande, Écosse, Belgique, Suisse, Hollande, Allemagne, Danemark, États-Unis...

Le grand public le découvre en première partie de BOB DYLAN, COLDPLAY, STING, PAUL WELLER, GOMEZ, TAJ MAHAL, ZWAN, THE PRETENDERS, PAUL KELLY, JOHN BUTLER TRIO... Son talent est salué par BEN HARPER ou encore DAVE LORY (manager du regretté JEFF BUCKLEY).

Sa musique est un savoureux mélange de rock/pop/blues roots sur lequel vient se poser une voix angélique et pleine d'âme. Multi-instrumentiste, Mick s'accompagne à la guitare, au lap steel, au piano ou à l'harmonica, soutenu par trois musiciens d'exception : DAMIAN LEONARD à la basse, TONY CHUBB à la batterie et EVAN BROWETT aux percussions.

Mick has just released his fourth studio album "FINDING HOME", an acoustic masterpiece written and recorded in France and England in 2006/2007. The album has a very raw and intimate old school quality, laying somewhere in the vain of early Bob Dylan, Ryan Adams, Nick Drake , Ben Harper and Elliot Smith along with Mick's unique voice and touch and possessing a wealth of songwriting inspiration.

En 2005, et en parallèle à sa carrière solo, Mick crée MONKEY BOY avec son ami Angus Diggs — un duo blues/rock sixties dans la veine des KINKS, JIMI HENDRIX, KINGS OF LEON et THE BLACK KEYS. En 2006, Mick continue à parcourir l'Europe et travaille sur un quatrième album studio dont la sortie est prévue en octobre prochain. En février/mars il profite de son passage à Londres pour enregistrer REWIND, un EP contenant sept titres acoustiques inédits.
